Job Summary: The Advancement Fund Coordinator promotes and facilitates accuracy in fund compliance, pledge receivables, endowment income spending, and honoring donor intent. Maintains an accurate and efficient tracking method for University gift funds and pledges, gift agreements, and namings to ensure the University is spending and stewarding gifts and funds in accordance with established standards as well as University Board rules. Manages and tracks fund information, documentation, pledge status, and gift information to readily address concerns or provide feedback as it relates to fund transparency. Completes fund audits regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance at all times as it relates to gift agreements.


Additional Department Summary: Works to implement and ensure efficiency in regards to all donor relations and stewardship objectives as well as accuracy of data reported.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR master's degree.


Skills and Knowledge: Ability to meet deadlines and work cross functionally with other departments to accomplish a common goal. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks through the use of reporting. Proficient with Microsoft Excel.


Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience within higher education or non-profit and knowledge of fund accounting and Banner experience.
