Nursing - Assistant Professor/Associate Professor - Tenure/Tenure Track - 524851
The Capstone College of Nursing at the University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with an emphasis and expertise in substance use disorders and related conditions. Successful candidates will be expected to conduct and lead independent high-impact research in substance use disorders and related conditions, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to departmental and university service at a level appropriate for the rank of Assistant Professor. Potential teaching assignments range from large undergraduate sections of introductory courses to graduate, including PhD courses.
Associate Director Science and Research Operations - 524863
The Associate Director Science and Research Operations manages the science and research operations of a research center or institute. Aligns research with operational impact. Generates synergy across research activities. Supports proposal development and submission for selected funding opportunities. Meets with scientists and operational personnel of federal agencies, academic researchers, and the private sector regularly to identify priority areas for research, points of synergy, and advise course corrections of research to connect to operations and other research activities. Coordinates project reporting and support scientists to prepare annual progress reports and other reports.
Athletic Broadcast Producer - 524864
The Athletic Broadcast Producer assists with pre-production planning and live broadcast productions for SEC. Prepares graphics list for insert graphics in broadcast shows. Prepares pre-produced video content for broadcast shows. Prepares broadcast show rundowns and works with announcers to determine storylines for broadcast shows. Produces various live events in video control room. Utilizes understanding of live event production, control room etiquette and overall chain of command in a live environment.

The Sales Associate II performs various retail support activities under moderate supervision. Receives, unpacks, restocks, prices, shelves, stages, and sells merchandise. Operates cash register to complete sales. Provides customer service to patrons. May train and provide work leadership to entry level Sales Associates.

The Programmer Analyst I designs, develops, supports, and codes low-complexity software systems to support the administrative function of the University under close supervision. This may include departmental and moderately critical applications. Assists in the development of processes and web applications. Creates workflows. Installs, customizes, supports, and creates integrations for vendor-supplied software systems. Works on a team and collaborates with specific departments, colleges, and customers around campus. Supports their needs, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and responding to their questions and concerns in a timely manner.

The Groundskeeper provides basic labor for landscape and flower installation and maintenance. Works outdoors in all types of weather. Drives University vehicles such as trucks, golf carts, mowers, and tractors from site-to-site.

Reporting to the Head of Electronic Resources and Scholarly Communications, this position leads the strategic evaluation of the University Libraries collections lifecycle, leverages knowledge of local and global publishing trends to enable dialogue around best practices in the licensing and acquisition of materials, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in strategic planning initiatives, and creates reports and business analytics using disparate and aggregated data to inform decisions in a variety of contexts.
Senior ADA Building Assessor
The Senior ADA Building Assessor performs ADA assessments utilizing techniques including visual examination, non-destructive testing, and instrumentation and load testing. Identifies, diagnoses, and develops barrier removal solutions for the built environment on the University campus including all major components and systems of buildings and other infrastructure. Produces deliverables ranging from reports of findings and recommendations to development of restoration design documents and construction oversight/administration. Maintains up to date understanding of construction materials and property classes.

The Regional UA Admissions Advisor serves as the field representative for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for an assigned regional area. Recruits students to attend The University of Alabama by creating awareness about the University, its programs, and scholarship opportunities.
